About Us (The Official Version)

YELLOW DAWG STRIPING is the Parking Lot Line Striping Division of our affiliate, BLACK DAWG SEALCOAT®.  BLACK DAWG began offering Line Striping Services in 2006 and demand quickly outpaced capacity.  To better manage the Line Striping needs of our Customers, a separate organization was formed in early 2009.

With Mark Murphy at the helm, we have dramatically improved and streamlined our process.  Besides better support for our local BLACK DAWG SEALCOAT Franchise locations, we have increased our ability to service many new Customers as well.  We have added new equipment and personnel to our operation and plan a nationwide expansion.

Founded by Jack Child and Mark Murphy, both former military officers and airline pilots you can expect nothing short of true professionalism and integrity in everything we do.

About Us (the real story)

With our love of dogs, particularly Labrador Retrievers, it’s no wonder we’ve chosen the name YELLOW DAWG STRIPING as the sister company of BLACK DAWG SEALCOAT.

Jack Child, founder of BLACK DAWG, owns a little Black Lab, Olive, and three Yellow Labs; Yellowdawg (yes, that’s her real name), Chase and Boo. Yellowdawg, Chase and Boo all felt a little left out with Olive grabbing all the attention as “The Boss” over at BLACK DAWG, so we thought it best to let them be “The Boss(es)”, too!
